Picturesque Big Mantrap Lake’s 1,770 acres of deep, open water are bordered by 35 miles of shoreline, many of which are natural and undeveloped; the ideal setting for a fishing adventure. With bays, islands and channels to fish; an angler could hook into a massive muskie. They can grow to over 50 inches in Big Mantrap Lake, so be sure to bring a net!

Muskies aren’t the sole star of the show. Giant pike, abundant crappie, and both smallmouth and largemouth bass make Big Mantrap Lake their home, so enjoy and take your time mastering the nuances of this beautiful and undeveloped lake.

Full-Service Boat Rentals

We are a full-service boating facility for our guests and provide everything you need to enjoy the water when staying at Mantrap Lodge. We offer boat rentals, however if you bring your own we have nice docks with electrical hookups and sell premium unleaded gas both straight and mixed, as well as outboard motor oil. We provide personal floatation devices, but encourage you to bring your own for the best fit. Our rentals are available on a first come, first serve basis. Should you wish to bring your own motor to place on one of our boats, we require that it be fewer than 25 HP.

Deluxe Fishing Boats: $850/week or $170/day (gas extra)
2 – 16’ Alumacraft Classic 165 CS with 60 or 70 HP Motor – Pedestal seats, live well, bow mount trolling motor, depth finders with GPS/Map

16’ Alumacraft Competitor 165 with 90 HP motor – Pedestal seats, live well, bow mount trolling motor, depth finder with GPS/Map

Deluxe pontoons: $925/week or $185/day (gas extra)
2 – New 21’ Sun Tracker Fishing Barge 20 DLX with 90 or 60 HP motor – Pedestal and bench seating, bimini top, live well – holds up to 10 guests

Lund Fishing boat: $425/week or $85/day (gas and oil extra)
14′ Lund deep-V with 9.9 or 15 HP outboard motor
14′ Lund deep-V Boat only: $25/day or $125/week
15 HP Johnson outboard motor Motor only: $60/day or $300/week (gas and oil extra)

Guest boat docking fee: $75/week or $15/day
